One question I have is how does Captain Beatty manage to know all these quotes and authors from books. He mentioned earlier that firmen pick up a line or two, but he is clearly more well versed than just a "line or two." I wonder if maybe Beatty knows more about this whole thing than he reveals to Montag.
I was a little confused about Faber's "plan of action." From what I understand they were discussing starting a secret movement to slowly bring back importance and real happiness into peoples lives. To be honest I think they are both a little crazy to even think of attempting such a ridiculous ploy, when Faber himself said that books weren't coming back, and even if they were to begin something like this, their only possible supporters were cowards, or to old to be of any help. However ridiculous, I have to admire their persisstance.
