F451 pages 138-154

I didn't really understant the daydream-type things that Montag has about a barn and the fruit... that was really confusing to me.

I think Montag has really changed in a lot of ways since the beggining of the book. He has faced the reality of his society, and the cause of its downfall. In that he seperates himself from everybody else, except the few like Faber and Clarisse who understand as well. He has also learned to face his fears. He proves this by ruthlessly killing Beatty, and defeating the mechanical hound, both of which he had feared in the past.
